Examples of Successful E-commerce Projects
Learn From Other E-commerce Companies
We have selected examples of Blackbit's collaboration with a wide range of companies and presented them transparently for you. In our case studies, we use explicit examples to show how we support our customers and their companies, which wishes have been implemented and which goals have been achieved. In some examples, you will find proven procedures, so-called best practices for e-commerce, which you can easily transfer to your store and your company.
Partner in E-commerce Since 1998
We have been involved in e-commerce on the Internet since 1996 and implemented our first B2B e-commerce store back in 1998. In the early days, we paved the way to the Internet for stationary retailers in particular and helped them to set up their own online store. But it wasn't long before the B2B sector also played an increasingly important role. Companies of all kinds liked the idea of finding potential customers on the Internet and using e-commerce to simplify the purchasing process for the benefit of both sides.
Over the years, the simple desire to offer products and services via an own store and to use the advantages of e-commerce developed into the complex and comprehensive topic of e-commerce. From marketing to customer service, the customer journey must now be taken into account and customers must be offered outstanding user experiences and brand experiences in e-commerce.
Making the Right Use of Potential in Online Retail
As online sales are no longer only conducted via the online store, but also via various channels such as mobile, social media and online marketplaces, we call this digital commerce rather than electronic commerce. For us, digital commerce naturally also includes e-commerce marketing. This supports the online offerings, just like the people who use processes and technologies to shape the e-commerce business in their own way at all touchpoints of the customer buyer journey and thus give it an individual character.
Setting up an e-commerce platform - whether in B2B e-commerce or B2C online shopping - is a challenge for many companies, as they often lack the complex expertise and resources required for online retail within the company itself. Even the most powerful e-commerce solution must be operated with expertise and empathy for the customer, despite the increasing use of artificial intelligence in online marketing. Companies in e-commerce often lack differentiated goals, an appropriate strategy and the digital mindset to survive with their own store on the internet. For example, the advantages of permanent success monitoring of data-based marketing are often not used and the dialog with the target group via the various social media channels is left to other companies.
